Mounting Undercurrents

 

The powerful re-dressing of a Pacific Sea Goddess, who represents both the nurturing life-giving aspects of the ocean and its fierce, destructive power. She is ensnared in 'Ghost Net' that drifts in strong undercurrents entangling and strangling deep-sea mounds and coral reefs. With spikey reality the Goddess highlights a critical truth that cannot be ignored: the issues of ocean debris and overfishing of deep-sea mounds, both demand immediate attention.

 

It's time to recognize the seriousness of these threats.
